CHECKING AND RETURNING BOOKS AND PERIODICALS
The following policy on the REMOVAL OF BOOKS from the Law Library has been established by the members of the Hancock County Law Library Resources Board in an effort to make books available for use by all attorneys.

BOOKS MAY NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE LAW LIBRARY BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Books may be removed from the Hancock County Law Library by an attorney only after completing a removal card and placing this card on the shelf from which the books were removed. Books are to be returned to the Law Library within 5 days or as soon as their purpose has been served, whichever may come first.

The following books MAY NOT BE REMOVED from the Law Library without permission from the Law Librarian or her assistant:

FEDERAL DIGEST
FEDERAL CODES
U.S. CODES
SUPREME COURT REPORTS, LAWYER'S EDITION
AM JUR
AM JUR LEGAL FORMS
AM JUR PLEADINGS AND PRACTICE FORMS
AM JUR PROOF OF FACTS
AM JUR TRIALS
OHIO JURISPRUDENCE 2D & 3D
OHIO REVISED CODE
OHIO DIGEST(WEST'S)

For your convenience, the Law Library has a copier which is located in the room just off the elevator and is available for use at a charge of 15 cents per copy. Copies made from online research are also 15 cents each. Charges are to be paid when copies are made. Copies may be charged by attorneys and law firms previously approved by the Hancock County Law Library Resource Board.

ANY PERSON MAKING A COPY IS RESPONSIBLE IN SEEING THAT IT IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS!!

When doing your research, please feel free to help yourself to the volumes and please reshelve them when you are done.
