Domestic Relations Filing Fees
The following fees are to be paid at the Hancock County Clerk of Courts Office, located at the Hancock County Courthouse, 3rd Floor, 300 South Main Street Findlay, Ohio:

- Divorces - $550
- Dissolutions - $450
- Domestic Matters with Publication (Additional Deposit) - $200
- Answer and Counterclaim (Divorce) - $295
- Home Investigation (Per Household) - $100
- Domestic Continuing Jurisdiction Motions - $275
- Guardian Ad Litem (Attorney) - $600
- Subpoena (Each - When Party Has No Deposit) - $10
- Appeals to Court of Appeals - $150 (Fixed by Court of Appeals)
The above costs and deposits are effective as of July 1, 2025 but subject to change.
The clerk shall not accept for filing any motions to invoke continuing jurisdiction of the court, except for those motions pertaining to charges of contempt for failure to pay child support, if the movant has outstanding court costs unless the court grants a waiver from this rule upon good cause shown.
