SAFETY PROGRAM

Purpose of SAFETY:   Systemic Approach For Engaging Targeted Youth

We provide a safe, structured, and therapeutic alternative for youth ages 10–17 who have been removed from their homes following an act of violence against a family member. Our program focuses on stabilization, accountability, and healing while addressing the underlying factors that contributed to the behavior.  Through individualized treatment planning and strong partnerships with families, schools, and community providers, we work to strengthen relationships and restore safety within the home. Our goal is to support a safe and sustainable reunification, ensuring long-term, community-based supports are in place to promote lasting stability and well-being for the entire family.

Why It Works

-Reduces detention, limits the traumas associated with confinement.

-Improves family reintegration/long term success.

-Addresses root causes, not just the incident.

-Strengthens collaboration between law enforcement, courts, and service providers.

-Decrease in youth placed in CPSU custody.
