Hancock County Probate and Juvenile Court

The Hancock County Probate and Juvenile Court is accepting resumes for a full time Deputy Clerk. This position is responsible for serving the public in a welcoming manner.  The work also entails handling cases from opening to close, scanning, filing, typing, scheduling, assisting the public in person and via telephone, and handling money in a fast-paced work environment.  A qualified candidate would preferably possess 3-5 years of office experience, the ability to multi-task, must work well with others, and be willing to be cross-trained in any other function of the Court.  A working knowledge of legal terminology and language is preferable, as is possessing strong organizational, communication and computer skills.   This is an unclassified, at-will position. Passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen are required. The Court is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Hancock County Auditor’s Office

Fiscal Services Administrator

The Hancock County Auditor’s Office is accepting resumes for a full time Fiscal Services Administrator.  This position reports to the Auditor and is an unclassified position with benefits.

Duties include: Preparation of the Hancock County financial report and coordination of the annual audit. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and the monthly financial reports.  Responsible for fiscal duties, correspondences and related administrative reports, including State and Federal reports. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis on Accounting: other accounting certifications a plus.  Must be proficient with personal computers and spreadsheets.

Hancock County Auditor’s Office
