Temporary Contact Numbers and Lobby Location

The phone lines are currently unavailable at our office. Due to construction, the JFS office located at 7814 CR 140 is currently unavailable for use and ALL JFS lobby traffic is being directed to the OhioMeansJobs-Hancock County office located in the building North of the JFS building. There are also 2 drop boxes available for use: one is located just inside the OMJ main entrance and the other is located at the end of the main drive for the OMJ office off County Road 140.

1-844-640-6446 – For calls regarding SNAP, OWF cash assistance and/or Medicaid. The call center is available Monday-Wednesday 8:00-4:00, Thursday 8:00-12:00 and Friday 8:00-3:00. The call center is closed the last Tuesday of each month. Calls regarding these programs outside of call center hours can be directed to 419-722-7601.

Through its partnerships with community organizations and state and federal government agencies, Hancock County Job & Family Services provides a number of services to families and individuals in need of assistance. These services range from food stamps, cash assistance, and child care subsidies to child support enforcement, job training, and access to medical care.
